METHODOLOGY
For the development of this guide were set up following work units:
- Technical Group:composed of three experts in ETS from the Agency for Health Technology Assessment Galicia (avalia-t). This working group was responsible for defining the scope of the project, propose the basis for the development of the guide and establish a systematic method of work. Its duties were to analyze the evidence, evaluate the results and propose prioritization criteria and indicators of initial results. This group was also responsible for writing the results and make recommendations, all in close collaboration with the working group.
- Working group: composed of eleven experts from various agencies STD / Spanish units means the Agency for Health Technology Assessment Galicia (avalia, t) (n = 3), the Agency for Health Technology Assessment Health Institute Carlos III (AETS) (n = 2), the Department of Health Technology Assessment Health Department Basque Government Osteba (n = 2), Unit of Health Technology Assessment of the Community of Madrid (Lain Entralgo Agency) (n = 1), the Agency for Health Technology Assessment of Andalusia (AETS) (n = 1), d'Innovation Avaluació Unitat de Noves Tecnologies i Hospital Clinic of Barcelona (n = 1) and the Evaluation Service and Planning Canary Islands Health Service (n = 1). The working group has acted as a consultant, reviewing the project and has made various contributions in the various sections of the guide. This group and the technical group has been tasked to propose panels within their regions.
In order to meet the specific objectives of the guide, developed three sections:
- Prioritization of new technologies for observation post-introduction
- Tools for collecting information
- Outcome indicators. Each section has been developed using a specific methodology described below
